Welcome to Kiitab! By using the Kiitab App, you (the "User" or "Parent/Guardian") agree to the following terms. These rules ensure a safe and effective learning environment for everyone.

1. Who Can Use the App

Kiitab is designed for children. However, accounts must be set up and managed by a parent or legal guardian. By creating an account, you confirm you are providing consent for your child to use the app.

2. Your Account

  • Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate information (like your email) so we can provide feedback and support.

  • Security: You are responsible for keeping your login details safe.

  • Termination: We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms or engage in inappropriate behavior.

3. Audio Recordings & Feedback

  • Usage: When a child records a recitation, that audio is uploaded to our secure servers so qualified teachers can provide feedback.

  • Ownership: You retain ownership of your child’s voice recordings, but you grant Kiitab a license to use them specifically for providing educational feedback and improving the learning experience.

  • Privacy: These recordings are never sold to third parties. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details.

4. Acceptable Use

To keep Kiitab a positive space, you agree not to:

  • Use the app for any purpose other than Quranic/Arabic learning.

  • Attempt to "hack," decompile, or disrupt the app’s software.

  • Upload any content that is offensive, harmful, or violates the rights of others.

5. Intellectual Property

All content within the app—including lessons, graphics, games, and the "Kiitab" name—is owned by Learning Roots Ltd. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial education only. You may not copy or redistribute our content without permission.

6. Payments and Refunds

  • Subscriptions: If you purchase a subscription, it will automatically renew unless canceled before the next billing cycle.

  • Refunds: Digital subscriptions are generally non-refundable once accessed, but we handle technical issues on a case-by-case basis. Contact kiitabapp@learningroots.com for help.

7. Limitation of Liability

While we strive for 100% uptime and the best educational results, Kiitab is provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect damages or technical interruptions beyond our control.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms occasionally to reflect new features. We will notify you of any major changes via the email associated with your account.
